Places to visit West Sussex

With its warm weather and south-facing chalky slopes, West Sussex has proved to be a natural home for the vineyards springing up in the south of England and there are some award-winners among its half-dozen viticulturists. Most of the vineyards offer tours and tastings for visitors, some of which require pre-booking, but their products are widely available in farm shops and delicatessens specialising in local produce.
